Lemon Chess Pie
SWEET VERSION (Gran’s)
chilled pie crust
2 cups sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cornmeal
4 eggs 🥚
¼ cup melted butter (cooled) 🧈
¼ cup milk 🥛
¼ cup lemon juice 🍋
4 tbsp lemon zest
TANGY VERSION

1½ cups sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp cornmeal

¼ cup milk
½ cup lemon juice 🍋
4 tbsp lemon zest
TIP: Try bruleeing 🔥 the top of this version after baking!
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375º
Mix sugar, flour, and cornmeal in large bowl
Add remaining ingredients and beat with mixer until thoroughly blended
Pour into unbaked pie shell (8–9”)
Bake 35–40 min
