Peanut Butter Cookies

INGREDIENTS

½ cup butter 🧈
½ cup peanut butter
½ cup white sugar
½ cup dark brown sugar
1 egg, well beaten 🥚

1¼ cup flour
¾ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder

DIRECTIONS

  • Preheat oven to 375º

  • Cream butter and peanut butter together, then gradually cream in sugars

  • Add beaten egg and stir

  • Combine dry ingredients then gradually stir into wet mixture

  • Chill dough for 1 hr or until firm

  • Roll into 1” balls and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper

  • Use flour-dipped fork to flatten balls and create criss-cross

  • Bake 5–7 minutes
